Presented in the solo exhibition of the same name at (AV17) gallery, this sculptural console draws on the language of ritual, transformation, and restraint.
Evoking the aquatic, armored body of the Amazonian arapaima fish, the piece is both visceral and reserved. Its form hints at motion stilled—an object poised between presence and disappearance.
In Trophies – Dressing Room, the dressing room becomes a conceptual space where the boundaries between roles, species, and materials blur. The collection reflects not on conquest, but on vulnerability and care—subverting the notion of the trophy through ethical material choices and intimate craftsmanship.
